The Shitbox Rally isn't your typical race; it's a challenge that pushes the boundaries. Participants embark on a journey across Australia in cars valued at just $1,500, tackling some of the country's most challenging roads. All of this is done in the spirit of charity on a national scale.
The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) plays a critical role in funding groundbreaking cancer research projects. However, their resources are limited, and not all deserving research projects receive support. This is where Cancer Council grants come into play, supported by funds raised through events like the Shitbox Rally. For the first time, Box Rallies will contribute to funding the next highest-ranked grants following the NHMRC, fueling promising cancer research initiatives nationwide.
